King Abdullah Port announces partnerships to boost maritime offerings

King Abdullah Port has announced a strategic partnership with two premier providers of marine fuel supply and services.

Western Fuel Supply for Petroleum Products Company Limited and Minerva Bunkering are the two institutions the port is partnering with.

This cooperation represents a new chapter in the development of the port’s maritime services, emphasizing its commitment to boosting services for every vessel docking at the port.

Jay New, CEO of King Abdullah Port, said: “The provision of bunker supplies at King Abdullah Port is not just an added service; it’s a significant stride in our continuous effort to enhance customers’ value.

“This move aligns seamlessly with our unwavering commitment to expand our maritime services spectrum and reinforces our dedication to serving our customers better each day.”

In April 2022, the port ranked second globally in terms of growth according to maritime transport data solution provider Alphaliner.

More recently, in June 2023, King Abdullah Port announced the integration of its Smart Gate System with the Truck Management System by the Saudi Company for Electronic Information Exchange (Tabadul), a provider of smart fintech services.
