Five new magnetic forklift trucks are on their way to VIX Logistica following the finalisation of an order agreement between the Brazilian logistics specialist and cargo handling supplier Kalmar.
The order, booked earlier this year, also includes a spare parts package and Kalmar Insight performance management tool – adding to VIX Logistica’s existing fleet of 38 Kalmar forklifts.
The firm’s services include vehicle fleet leasing, material handling and dedicated logistics operations across 80 locations.

Executive officer for VIX Logistica, Bruno Pretti Chieppe, said: “We have been impressed with the Kalmar forklifts already in our fleet, so it was natural for us to approach Kalmar when looking to invest in new machines.

“We fully expect the new forklifts to increase the flexibility and efficiency of our operations, increasing productivity across the fleet.”
Adoption of Kalmar’s performance management tool is also expected to play its part in boosting VIX Logistica’s operations, Chieppe added.
