Kalmar Lifetime Services on Display at TOC Europe 2017

Kalmar has announced that it will be showcasing its latest product offerings together with Navis and Bromma at the TOC Europe exhibition on June 27-29, 2017, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

During the exhibition, the Cargotec company will highlight its latest Rubber-Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG) portfolio, which it has claimed can reduce fuel consumption from 17% to 100% compared to most other RTGs.

New features that will be showcased include an electro-mechanical anti-sway system, a SmartProfile stack anti-collision system, a SmartView camera system and a completely new graphical user interface (GUI) for the driver.

Kalmar has also expanded its range of available power units with a new option based on battery hybrid technology.

The company will arrange live demonstration sessions its stand, with featured solutions such as the Kalmar OneTerminal — a unique, integrated automation solution consisting of Kalmar and Navis software, equipment and services.

Kalmar’s OneTerminal demo will showcase the benefits of pre-integrated testing in deploying an integrated automation solution.

On June 27 at 10:45-12:00, Kalmar's President Antti Kaunonen will participate in the Leaders' Debate about the future of port and terminal technology at the TECH TOC conference.

Arto Keskinen, Vice President, Intelligent Service Solutions, will also be discussing maintenance for automated terminals at TECH TOC on June 27 at 16:15 – 17:45.

Kalmar will have two machines on display during the event, its K-Motion reachstacker and the Kalmar T2 Terminal tractor.
