Kalmar has also emphasized that, with the help of its automation platform, businesses specializing in intermodal operations can adapt and grow as demands change.

As a result, Kalmar has made electrically-powered options of its existing equipment available to customers, including rail-mounted and rubber-tyred gantry cranes, automated guided vehicles, straddle carriers and terminal tractors.
