Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has announced an agreement to supply comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance services to Operaciones Portuarias Canarias S.A. (OPCSA) at Las Palmas container terminal, Spain.
According to a statement, the order was booked in Cargotec’s third quarter of 2019 with the contract coming into effect at the start of the first quarter of 2020.
The order comprises a Kalmar Complete Care service contract covering the terminal’s ship-to-shore (STS) and rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes,

OPCSA operates the most modern and largest terminal in the Port of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands.
Kalmar Complete Care enables better operational predictability, lower operational risk and reduced equipment downtime.
