Hyundai Glovis will establish its first European vehicle logistics hub in Amsterdam, handling import, export and distribution across the continent.
The agreement was signed on 28 May by the Port of Amsterdam, Hyundai Glovis and Koopman Logistics Group during a ceremony marking the development of the new terminal arrangement.
From 01 January 2027, Hyundai Glovis will begin operating across approximately 47 hectares of land within the port area, consolidating vehicle flows currently dispersed across multiple European ports.
The hub will centralise international vehicle volumes in Amsterdam before redistribution into European markets, a move expected to increase vessel calls and intensify utilisation of both maritime infrastructure and hinterland rail connections.

Logistics operations at the terminal will be managed by Koopman Logistics Group, supporting the handling and distribution of finished vehicles across regional markets.
The consolidation of cargo flows is expected to position Amsterdam as a more central node in European automotive logistics, with increased demand for nautical access and inland connectivity.
