INFORM’s Logistic Division has announced that they will release a chatbot add-on in 2018 for their maritime and inland terminal solutions.
The innovative technology will be available for use with INFORM's SyncroTESS operational system and their analytics partner platform, Qlik Sense.
The chatbot add-on will be available globally for use in all major languages for eligible customers.
It also receives both voice and text-based queries from a broad range of input sources, recognizes the request, searches for the answer, and sends the answer back as a text response in real-time.
Dr. Eva Savelsberg, SVP Logistics Division at INFORM, said: “We envisage both management and new user groups fully profiting from the functionality as it requires little-to-no training and is in line with their normal communication behaviors.
“It becomes natural for users to access and utilize data to support decision-making at all levels of management and operations; imagine being able to quickly check the status of KPIs, containers, or equipment without calling anyone; users will simply ask SyncroTESS or Qlik Sense directly.”
