Igus displays cutting-edge cable-carrier systems

Exhibiting at TOC Europe, Igus is displaying its cable-carrier systems, designed for both trolley and crane travel

In an exclusive interview with PTI, the carriers are designed to be cost-efficient and maintenance-free as they do not require any lubrication to keep them working properly.

Jens Olaf Goebelm, branch manager of crane and material handling at Igus said: “The roller-chain system can save a lot of power while reducing wear and friction of cables.”

He added: “The carriers do not need any drivers and are environmentally friendly. The components can be recycled and carry much sustainability.”
