International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has announced the appointment of Andrew Dawes as Senior Vice President and Regional Head of the terminal operator’s Asia Pacific region.
Dawes, who will be directly responsible for the management and development of ICTSI’s Asia Pacific portfolio outside of the Philippines, replaces Christian R. Gonzalez, who has been named Global Corporate Head of ICTSI.
According to a statement, Dawes has held senior positions in multinational port management companies across the world, including Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

Prior to joining ICTSI, he was the Managing Director of APM Terminals Salalah in Oman.
Dawes has also performed the roles of managing director and chief operations officer in various APM Terminals locations.
In addition to this, the new Senior Vice President has worked in key roles for DP World, P&O Ports, and Southampton Container Terminal in the UK.
