HHR Shanghai appoints new Chief Representative

The Hamburg Liaison Office China (HHR Shanghai) has welcomed new leadership, with Lars Anke taking over as Chief Representative.

Anke previously ran the office from 2006 till 2019. His expertise will help to improve Hamburg’s strategic position in Asia, bringing new impetus and initiatives to the area.

Pan Hua, who has led the Shanghai office for several years, has decided to step down.

She will, however, stay with the office as Senior Vice President, continuing to play an active role in promoting Hamburg-Asia connections and contributing to strategic initiatives.

The Port of Hamburg stated that her extensive experience would continue to be a vital contribution to the organisation.

Additionally, Ye Miaomiao, a valued team member since 2011, will be appointed Deputy Chief Representative.

Recently, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) Project Logistics successfully completed its first loading operation at the Port of Hamburg.
