HHLA Sky, Third Element Aviation to boost drone technology
HHLA Sky, a subsidiary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG, has merged with drone maker Third Element Aviation, forming a European force in industrial-scale automation of drone and mobile robot fleets.

The merger brings together mobile robot management software from HHLA Sky with Third Element Aviation’s drone technology.

Its Integrated Control Center (ICC) enables the centralised, secure control of multiple BVLOS drone and robot operations across locations.

Combined with Third Element Aviation’s manufacturing expertise, HHLA Sky reportedly offers a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for autonomous system control and deployment.

Together, we are setting the standard in automation and drone network integration, which is critical given the increasing global competition in this field.”

In May 2024, Airobotics Ltd. and HHLA Sky formed a strategic cooperation to provide drone services to secure and assist terminal operations in Germany.
