Hapag-Lloyd makes changes to BAX service

Hapag-Lloyd in good waters, delivers strong H1 results

Hapag-Lloyd has introduced a new port rotation for its Baltic Express (BAX) service.

The first vessel to set sail on the new route will be the MV Empire V. 2218E, the ship is expected to depart from Hamburg on 4 May 2022.

The new port rotation is as follows: Hamburg (Germany) – Helsinki (Finland) – Tallinn/Muuga (Estonia) – Rauma (Finland) – Hamburg.

In Hamburg, the service is set to call at Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA) and Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB).

Hapag-Lloyd has also announced its new AT3 service coming at the end of May 2022.

The service will link Hamburg and Antwerp with St. John, New Brunswick and operate seasonally with the following rotation: Hamburg (Germany) – Antwerp (Belgium) – St. John (Canada) – Hamburg.
