Gulftainer and VertomCory have announced their intention to form a strategic shipping joint venture in the Middle East and the US.
The aim is to provide a wide range of services. These will include vessel and port agency services, customs clearance, logistics, offshore supply, consumables, bunkering, ship-to-shore equipment, and diving services.
Additionally, the joint venture will offer insurance, husbandry, and hub services, as well as information and documentation management.
This shipping agency will look to start operations in the UAE, with a progressive expansion plan across other GCC countries, providing digitally-led services to ship owners, charterers and cargo owners.
