Globe Tracker has recently announced the launch of its I-Network slideshow in a bid to improve communications links with customers.
The I-Network comprises GT Infrastructure Communications Units which, when installed, can provide blanket-coverage of a terminal’s area.
The units have the capability to communicate with each other and with other units installed in trucks, assets, containers etc, allowing the exact real-time location to be determined by the yard operator.

In addition, GT units can communicate real-time events, such as temperature alarms, door status changes and other actions through the I-Network and GT Smart Autonomous Asset Network, directly to the asset owners.
These alerts can be passed to the terminal operator, in real-time, through the GT Trade Data Exchange Network in order to improve communications links with customers.
