  • Batumi International Container Terminal deploys Tideworks’ Mainsail Vanguard, Forecast & Traffic Control

Tideworks Technology has announced that the Batumi International Container Terminal (BICT) has successfully deployed Tideworks’ Mainsail Vanguard as its new terminal operating system (TOS).

In addition, BICT, located in Adjara, Georgia on the Black Sea and operated by International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI), has installed Forecast, Tideworks’ port community web portal, and Traffic Control, its equipment dispatch system.

“We are excited to help BICT expand its technologies to include Tideworks’ Mainsail Vanguard, Forecast and Traffic Control,” said Michael Schwank, president of Tideworks.

“ICTSI is a large and well-respected international terminal operator, and it has been our privilege working with BICT to successfully upgrade their TOS. We are very proud of the work we do for the three ICTSI sites in Gdynia, Poland; Portland, Ore.; and Adjara, Georgia.”

BICT is managed by Batumi International Container Terminal LLC (BICTL), a unit of ICTSI established under a 48-year concession agreement to operate in the Port of Batumi. BICTL is the exclusive container terminal operator in the port.
