The G6 alliance has announced the introduction of its winter program and temporary suspensions of two services due to traditional seasonal changes in market demand.

The G6 Alliance will combine the NYE and SCE services into a single service, which will include the ports of Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shanghai (Yangshan) and the Panama Canal.

The first sailing of the combined service will start on October 29, 2015.

The last sailings of the temporarily suspended NYE and SCE services will be from Kaohsiung on October 25, 2015 and Savannah November 23, 2015 for NYE.

The last sailings from the SCE will be from Xiamen on October 20, 2015 and Savannah on November 22, 2015.

The G6 Alliance will temporarily suspend the Central China 2 (CC2) service between Asia and the North America West Coast during the winter period starting from Week 44.

Fact File: The G6 Alliance – NYK, OOCL, Hapag-Lloyd, APL, MOL and Hyundai – continues to offer a variety of services between Asia and North America, covering all major port pairs with weekly sailings, and to make service adjustments where necessary. The G6 Alliance also offers services on the Asia-Europe and Transatlantic trade lanes.
