A video released recently by Maersk shows the values that are most important to Soren Skou, CEO of Maersk’s shipping arm, Maersk Line.
Skou articulates the importance of nurturing employees and that the quality of the people and the way the company is run are two of the factors that will determine the success of Maersk’s future.
At present, Mr Skou leads a global team of 30,000 people across a total of 120 countries. More than 7,000 of these employees are at sea while the more than 22,000 are based onshore.
