A Maersk Triple-E ship is scheduled to make an appearance at DP World London Gateway at the end of January, 2015 and to honour the visit of a Maersk giant visiting a terminal down the road (or should we say river) from the PTI offices; we present an infographic which shows the details and specifications of the ship.
The Maersk Triple-E class of mega-ship has a TEU capacity of 18,270, and with a wider bow than smaller sized container ships, it is capable of carrying 16% more containers than ships of a comparative size.
