A.P. Moller-Maersk (Maersk) has revised its Dry Port Surcharge – Export (DPS) from Malur, India, to worldwide destinations, effective 10 July 2026.
The change applies to both regulated and non-regulated countries. Under the new tariff, the DPS for a 20-foot dry container from Malur has been reduced from INR 8,060 ($84.54) to INR 6,000 ($62.93). For 40-foot dry containers and 40-foot high cube dry containers, the charge has been cut from INR 13,170 ($138.13) to INR 10,000 ($104.88).
The revision forms part of Maersk’s ongoing efforts to maintain a broad portfolio of services alongside competitive transit times and reliability across its network.
For exporters and freight forwarders moving cargo through Malur, the reduced surcharge lowers the cost of inland transport to the port, potentially improving the competitiveness of the corridor relative to alternative dry ports serving South Indian export volumes.
