Eastport UK orders 17 Yokohama pneumatic fenders for Great Yarmouth
Fendercare Marine has secured a major fendering contract with British port operator Eastport UK.
The UK-based firm will supply 17 Yokohama pneumatic fenders for use at the Port of Great Yarmouth – a key hub for the UK’s offshore energy sector
Privately owned and operated by Eastport UK, the port at Great Yarmouth can facilitate larger offshore vessels now being deployed with the recent construction of its outer harbour.
“The new Yokohama fenders we have purchased from Fendercare Marine are a proven product, and provide us with greater flexibility to cater for a range of different sized vessels, further enhancing the attractiveness and suitability of the Outer Harbour to our current and future customers,” commented Eastport UK CEO, Jamie Frater.
