Aretina container depot, Ecuador, has chosen eYARD as a technological solution to improve the productivity of its operations.
The container depot is under the ownership of AGUNSA, a leading multinational company in agency and logistics services. Starting its warehouse services in 1980, AGUNSA has acquired experience over the years that has positioned the company as a benchmark of excellence in the industry.
With the help of eYARD, the multinational has sought to slash costs through reducing non-productive moves and cutting long hours of planners creating manual rules.
eYARD, through its Container Tracking tool, will design ad-hoc artificial intelligence algorithms to optimise and automate its processes, among other benefits.
