The Ever Given has reached the Port of Rotterdam almost four months after blocking the Suez Canal and crippling global supply chains.
The 20,388 TEU boxship docked at the Netherlands port at 05:00am local time carrying more than 18,000 containers.
The container ship made the call following the announcement on 16 July that it would miss its Hamburg port call due to concerns surrounding navigational safety.
The vessel will continue onto Felixstowe following its dock at Rotterdam’s ECT Delta terminal for unloading.
The vessel grabbed headlines in Spring 2021 when the ship ran aground in the Suez Canal, crippling supply chains and causing severe delays in cargo movement.
The container ship was released by Egyptian authorities on 7 July following an agreement in compensation.
