EUROGATE Intermodal GmbH (EGIM), a subsidiary of the EUROGATE Group, has established a collaboration with Hamburger Informatik Technologie Center e. V. (HITeC) to develop methods and tools for intelligent and automated decision making.
HITeC is a research and technology transfer center of the Department of Informatics at the University of Hamburg.

The first collaborative project between EGIM and researchers of the University of Hamburg, Dr. Leonard Heilig and Dr. Kai Brüssau, was focused on the development of a software component for the automated planning of truck drayage and inter-terminal transportation using advanced methods and technologies.

Lars Hedderich, Managing Director at EGIM, said he is looking forward to the latest development.
