Eurogate Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven (CTW) has agreed to join the Portchain Connect Network.
CTW will utilise the product to improve the quality and efficiency of its berth alignment with clients by leveraging digital handshakes and secure data sharing, reported the terminal.
Portchain Connect reportedly allows container terminals to get real-time schedules and move count updates directly from carrier systems, allowing them to reply and counter-propose swiftly to align the vessel timetable with the terminal berth plan.
