A very recent video released by gCaptain shows a crack running the length of a foundation of concrete, formed in one of the new locks, which could put severe delays on the completion of the Panama Canal expansion project.

According to gCaptain, the crack appeared in the sill of the new Cocoli Locks, just above one of the gigantic rolling gates, located on the Pacific side.

The project is due to be completed in early 2016, and the Panama Canal has recently finished the installation of its sixteen rolling gates, marketing a major milestone in the development of the project.
