A video released recently by ECT Rotterdam shows the milestones that the terminal has reached since it was first established 50 years ago.
The terminal was the first container terminal to be built in Rotterdam and was also the world’s first automated container terminal.

It was also the first terminal to handle more than 150 million TEU and is one of the most advanced and environmentally-friendly container terminals globally.
PTI is due to host a C-Level Terminal Automation & Training Conference on June 8 in London, in which expert speakers will come together to discuss advancements in terminal automation and training, as well as answer specific questions from delegates.
