  • Fourth site due to go live with TOS upgrade in Q1 2014

Navis has announced that DP World Australia has successfully completed terminal operating system (TOS) upgrades at three of four planned sites.

DP World Sydney, DP World Fremantle and, now, DP World Melbourne have concluded essential TOS implementations and are now fully operational with the Navis N4 software.

“Over the last few years, DP World has embarked on a major infrastructure and technology upgrade across its Australian terminals in order to deliver higher levels of service to our customers,” said Ganesh Raj, managing director at DP World Australia.

“With our sophisticated systems in place, we are focused on delivering efficiency and helping customers effectively manage their supply chains.”

“Navis’ N4 TOS is the critical link that will enable us to deliver on these promises, providing greater reliability and integration of port technologies across our terminals as a result,” stated Raj.

The fourth and final N4 implementation is currently in progress at DP World Brisbane and is expected to be operational in early 2014. Once complete, Brisbane will be the first automated operation for DP World Australia.
