Dahua Technology, manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products, has announced that its 12-megapixel panorama camera, the DH-IPC-EBW81200, was the winner in the IP Camera and 128-channel 4K NVR category at the NVR Secutech Excellence Awards 2015.
The NVR winner is integrated with a fisheye dewarping function and is equipped with front LCD display which is installed as a convenience for installation and maintenance.
James Wang, Product Director at Dahua Technology, said: “This is the fourth consecutive year to have the trophies. Over the past three years, Dahua’s IP camera stood out for its high-resolution and image quality.
“This year, for the first time, Dahua’s NVR shows its great compatibility and outstanding performance among other brands, presenting our excellences from front-end to back-end as a whole.”
Dahua’s latest 2.0 series offers new surveillance features, while maintaining the ‘green’, energy-saving concept of its eco-savvy equipment range, including the enhanced, performance-boosting Ambarella S2LM chip.
The eco-savvy series includes a range of smart-detection features, including face detection, tripwire detection, and intrusion detection. These features mean that users are equipped with more precise video analysis and, as a result, greater security efficiency.
Dahua has also introduced improvements in the series’ sensors. The infrared light sensor allows the camera to switch between day and night modes automatically, changing as needed according to illumination levels.
All of these improvements are designed to provide eco-savvy 2.0 users with ease-of-use and outstanding performance.
