CyberLogitec implements OPUS Terminal at Qinzhou Terminal

OPUS Terminal was successfully implemented at Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal on 28 June, 2022, announced CyberLogitec.

The world’s first U-type Full Automated Terminal, located at China’s mega-terminal Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal, allows for autonomous operation of all the terminal’s equipment.

In advance of the planned date, CyberLogitec has successfully deployed I-AGV (Intelligent Guided Vehicle) processes.

They have also built on the accumulated R&D knowledge regarding ARMGC (Automated Rail Mounted Gantry Crane) and STS (Ship To Crane) technologies in semi-automatic container terminals.

Since it opened, the Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal has been using two berths.

Until the second phase berth expansion that is scheduled at the end of 2023, CyberLogitec will continuously focus on the safety level that BGPG seeks to achieve, development of advanced features such as AI, and operations which are targeted for high productivity and low cost operation in terminal productivity.

Vice President of Cyberlogitec, Jeong Min Son, touched on CyberLogitec’s movement towards automation: “To offer fast and stable supply for various types of equipment and terminal operation procedure following the trend of global port terminals, CyberLogitec will take the lead in the implementation of a smart terminal operating system.”
