Cuban logistical projects hook Spanish interest

Barcelona Port Authority has said it is interested in participating in the development of logistical projects in Cuba.

Ileana Nuñez, Cuba’s deputy minister of foreign trade and foreign investment, recently visited the port facilities in Barcelona, where the matter was discussed.

The minister’s visit was to Spain was to present the new features of her country's investment policy and the Mariel Development Zone, located in Cuba's western region.

Recently, representatives of more than one hundred Spanish companies in Madrid were made aware of the facilities available for investment in Cuba.

Nuñez recalled the objective of her institution is to bring major Spanish companies to the Cuban market.
