Port Technology has interviewed Scott Peoples, Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President of Navis, about collaboration in the container shipping industry.
In a one-on-one interview, part of a series filmed at Port Technology's Container Terminal Automation Conference (#CTAC2018), Peoples answers pertinent questions about how supply chain stakeholders can get the most from collaborating.
The terminal operating system expert also revealed that Navis’ strategic direction in 2018 will be to invest in advancing its own systems with that of next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence.

In the interview, Peoples said: “In 2018 we’re really focusing more of our R&D and investment on next-generation solutions.
“There’s so many next-generation solutions that we can invest in, whether its artificial intelligence or other areas, so that’s a big focus in 2018.”
