PTI is proud to reveal that Leo Carrington, Equity Research Analyst at leading financial services provider Credit Suisse, will be speaking at the Container Terminal Automation Conference 2019.

An expert on industrial sectors around Europe, Carrington is currently producing research on major cargo-handling firms such as Konecranes and Cargotec.

The session will also explore the evolution of shipping and logistics industries due to technological change, with speakers examining how key innovations such as AI, the Internet of Things (IoT) and data sharing systems will impact the movement of maritime trade.

Credit Suisse has supported a number of port and terminal projects in the past, including the expansion of International Container Terminal Services Inc.’s flagship Manila facility.

This experience with the ports and terminals sector will prove incredibly valuable to attendees of #CTAC19, as Leo Carrington explains the larger economic trends affecting the sector and its progress towards an automated future.

Other speakers already confirmed for the conference include Rich Ceci, an automation specialist and project leader from Virginia International Terminals, and Dr. Leonard Heilig, who will focus on the potential of machine learning to boost the maritime industry.

We look forward to welcoming Leo and all of the expert speakers presenting at #CTAC19, which takes place from May 7-8 in London, UK.
