COSCO-owned CSP Abu Dhabi has signed an agreement with Midea Group on the joint construction of an overseas warehouse transit centre in the Middle East.

On 6 July, as a strategic partner of COSCO SHIPPING, Midea sent a delegation headed by its Vice President Wang Jianguo, who serves also as the President of Midea International, to visit CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal and CSP Abu Dhabi Container Freight Station (CFS).

The two sides reached the consensus on the cooperation scheme of leveraging CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal and CFS to build Midea’s overseas warehouse transit centre in the Middle East.

The move will make it easier and smarter for Midea products to reach the international market.

Earlier this month COSCO SHIPPING Holdings (COSCO) announced preliminary results for the first half of this year, posting impressive revenues driven by high freight rates.

COSCO Shipping Logistics has also launched a new logistics channel connecting the Western Land-sea Trade Corridor and the International Express train.
