COSCO Shipping Ports (CSP), the biggest terminal operator in the world, has announced that Feng Boming has replaced Zhang Wei in his role of Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Company.
Zhang recently resigned as an Executive Director, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Company. Feng has replaced Zhang in his role in the Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Company.
Feng, has been working as a non-executive Director of the Company since October 2016.
Feng also served as Manager of the Commercial Section of the Ministry of Trade Protection of COSCO.
Feng has over 20 years of experience in the shipping industry and an extensive experience in ports management and operation, enterprise strategy management, business management and container shipping management.
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Hong Kong.
COSCO Shipping, the third biggest container shipping line in the world, has also recently named Fu Gangfeng as its new president.
