COSCO SHIPPING enhances transatlantic services

COSCO SHIPPING Lines, a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Holdings, has planned to significantly enhance its transatlantic services beginning in February 2025.

The upgrade will reportedly introduce four robust and dependable direct transatlantic services:

  • Northwest Europe to the North Atlantic (New York, Norfolk, and Baltimore)
  • Northwest Europe to the South Atlantic (Charleston and Savannah)
  • Northwest Europe to the Gulf of the US and Mexico (Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, and New Orleans)
  • Northwest Europe to Central and West America (Los Angeles and Oakland)

According to COSCO SHIPPING, this expansion will offer a total of 66 direct port-to-port services.

TAE: Northwest Europe to the North Atlantic

Southampton – Antwerp – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Le Havre – New York – Norfolk – Baltimore -Southampton

Following the receipt of necessary regulatory approvals, the new Atlantic route service is scheduled to commence operations in February 2025.

In December 2024, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers announced a new Southeast Africa direct express weekly service.
