Contargo Road Logistics has acquired the Dutch transport business HE-Logistics BV, strengthening its presence in the Benelux nations for container direct trucking.
HE-Logistics provides container transport using its own and chartered vehicles, as well as reefer and trailer transport, collecting and conventional transport.
Marcel Hulsker, Co-Managing Director of Contargo GmbH & Co. KG, said: “With the takeover of HE-Logistics BV, we are strengthening our position, especially in the Netherlands. We can also expand our product portfolio through trailer transport and reefer transport in the Benelux countries and Europe, among other things.”

In the future, HE-Logistics BV’s business operations will continue under the name Contargo HE-Logistics BV.
The Managing Director of HE-Logistics BV, Hennie van der Graaf, will continue to work within the Contargo Group as Branch Manager of Contargo HE-Logistics BV.
In May 2020, Kalmar, part of Cargotec, announced it is set to supply Contargo Group with a total of 10 Gloria reachstackers.
Two years later, Contargo announced that its rail offer has expanded with a new container train connection between Frankfurt and Antwerp.
