In part two of PTI’s exclusive video interview with Jonathan C Williams, General Manager of FONASBA, he discusses whether there will be an international body who can responsibly enforce the new container weighing on July 1, as well as what will happen to those countries that do not comply.
Mr Williams articulates his view that there will not be any international body to regulate and enforce the new rule, since it will be self-enforcing. Despite this, some countries in Europe have come together to call for consistency when implementing the regulation.
