Container carrying a vehicle erupt in flames at PortMiami

A vehicle inside a shipping container erupted in flames at PortMiami on 29 November, causing nearby apartments to “shake”, reported CBS News.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue were called out to a fire at a cargo yard at approximately 11:40 am, where they confronted the flame-ridden container.

The incident reportedly triggered an explosion which caused nearby apartments to “shake”, according to the residents who had informed CBS News Miami. Firefighters extinguished the flames upon arriving on-site, successfully limiting the damage and preventing further spread.
