CMA CGM Group has announced the opening of two new weekly services that will connect Northern Europe, The Middle East and Pakistan/North West India.
EPIC 1 and EPIC 2 will both connect the continents through the Suez Canal, Red Sea, Gulf of Arden and the Arabian Sea.
EPIC 1, in partnership with MSC and UASC, has a rotation, which is as follows: Mundra – King Abdullah – Gioia Tauro – Tanger – Southampton – Rotterdam –Antwerp – Felixstowe –Dunkirk – Le Havre – King Abdullah – Djibouti – Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Hazira – Mundra and begins on the July 26, 2016.
EPIC 2, in partnership with HAPAG LLOYD and HAMBURG SUD, has a rotation that will be as follows: Mundra –Jeddah – Cagliari – Tanger –Hamburg –Antwerp – London – Tanger – Cagliari – Jeddah – Khor Fakkan – Jebel Ali – Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Mundra and begins on the July 24, 2016.
CMA CGM has recently taken over Kingston Container Terminal, under its subsidiary Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited.
This development marks the beginning of a 30-year concession that was announced more than a year ago.
