CMA CGM unveils West Coast Central America route

CMA CGM has announced the beginning of its new weekly route, the Maya route, devoted to West Coast Central America.

This initiative coincides with regional market fundamentals and recent issues, reported the company.

The rotation will be the following: 

Lazaro Cardenas – Puerto Caldera – Corinto – Acajutla – Puerto Quetzal – Lazaro Cardenas

CMA CGM operates a fleet of two dedicated ships, the m/v CMA CGM SURABAYA and the m/v MAGDALENA SCHULTE, that cycle directly weekly, linking Asia and West Coast South America via Lazaro Cardenas 

The first departure of the m/v “CMA CGM SURABAYA” voy. 0UC01S1MA is scheduled for 2 January 2025.

Recently, CMA CGM partnered with JA Solar, a prominent provider of photovoltaic power solutions, to advance sustainability in the maritime supply chain.
