CMA CGM will be altering its BRAZEX services in Brazil and the Caribbean in the New Year.

Beginning with the m/v “NORTHERN DELEGATION” vessel, ETD Vitoria 1 January, BRAZEX 1 will stop calling at Itajai and instead will call at Navegantes.

Starting with the m/v “CC MALTA”, ETD Kingston 12 February, the call rotation will be as follows: Kingston – Port of Spain – Rio de Janeiro – Santos – Navegantes – Vila do Conde – Caucedo – Kingston.

The two loops will now be calling Navegantes offering the same gateways for South Brazil.

In November the French carrier announced it would make two medium-term adjustments to its global shipping services facing congestion in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Liberty Bridge Service from North Europe to the US East Coast will omit the Port of Savannah, Georgia, in early 2022 due to ongoing congestion.

CMA CGM has also extended suspension of Le Havre and Puerto Angamos calls until end of March 2022 on the Eurosal service connecting North Europe with West Coast South America and the Caribbean.
