CMA CGM launches Asia to India West Coast and Middle East service

CMA CGM has launched a new weekly service, VGI, linking Laem Chabang, Vung Tau, and Jakarta to the India West Coast and the Middle East.

According to CMA CGM, VGI offers competitive transit times to serve the rapid import and export growth of Southeast Asian markets.

Shippers will have more access to the Middle East’s main markets through direct calls to Jebel Ali and Dammam, as well as more information on outports through CMA CGM’s feeder solutions.

According to the French shipping company, the VGI port rotations are as follows: 

– VGI Loop 1 : Laem Chabang – Singapore – Port Klang – Nhava Sheva – Jebel Ali – Dammam – Nhava Sheva – Port Klang – Vung Tau

– VGI Loop 2: Vung Tau – Jakarta – Port Klang – Mundra – Jebel Ali – Dammam – Mundra – Port Klang – Laem Chabang

Effective Voyage

– VGI Loop 1: ETA Laem Chabang on 16 May 2024 with M/V ZHONG GU SHEN YANG

– VGI Loop 2 : ETA Vung Tau on 19 May 2024 with M/V ESL KABIR

Recently, CMA CGM launched M2X – Mexico Express, a new service that streamlines shipments from the Far East to Mexico’s West Coast.
