CMA CGM restarts Tianjin – Mongolia rail service

The Tianjin to Ulaan Bator rail service is now back active in the CMA CGM Intermodal and Transport Solutions portfolio and bookings are accepted.

“The rail service China – Mongolia was closed due to severe congestion and long delays at the gateway port for the cargo bound to Ulaan Bator in Mongolia, we are advised by the rail service operator the situation has considerably improved,” CMA CGM wrote in a short statement.

North China’s Tianjin Port handled approximately 4.63 million TEU of containers in the first three months of 2022, registering an increase of 3.5 per cent year on year.
