CMA CGM deploys new Mainland China rail routes

CMA CGM Group has introduced new rail solutions with block-trains in provinces across Mainland China.

In addition to the barge transport solutions available in South China, the French logistics giant has introduced eight new rail solutions with block-trains in the provinces of Hunan, Sichuan, Hainan and Guangdong for a global capacity of 740 TEU a week.

CMA CGM users already benefit from 58 rail corridors in North China, Central China and South China with multi-departures a week connecting with 62 ocean services for both cargo export and import.

In its ocean services, CMA CGM will continue to suspend Le Havre and Puerto Angamos calls on its EUROSAL service as shipping bottlenecks roll on.
