CMA CGM Brazil enhances intermodal sustainable solutions

CMA CGM has offered rail solutions connected to our 10 core maritime services on key global trade routes. 

Santos, a strategic hub for intermodal solutions, provides: 

  • Connectivity with four major regions: São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, and Mato Grosso 

  • Access to six major rail terminals: Jundiaí, Rondonópolis, Contagem, Itutinga, Juiz de Fora, and Anápolis

  • Weekly rail departures with a transit time of two days to Jundiaí and seven days to other locations 

  • Santos transit time from Shanghai in 33 days, Pusan 27, Antwerp 16, Aliaga 21 and Norfolk 26 days.

Late last year, CMA CGM announced it will introduce Vietnam’s first zero-emissions inland transport solution: a fully electric barge powered by green energy, supported by a new solar farm at Gemalink terminal in Cai Mep.
