The CMA CGM Group has selected Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) to handle its CMA CGM Air Cargo’s new Hong Kong services.
Under the new partnership, Hactl will provide a total cargo solution to CMA CGM Air Cargo, including terminal and ramp handling, as well as documentation services.
The Honk Kong services began in early September.
The group’s air arm has added five scheduled flights per week from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to Hong Kong, joining its existing services to the US.
The new services are being operated with brand new Boeing 777F aircraft.
Capacity on the flights is being marketed by CMA CGM Air Cargo, with the support of GSSA ECS Group.

“We are honoured that they are entrusting their important new service to our care, and look forward to supporting them with comprehensive, efficient and resilient ground handling services.”
More carriers have lately added to fleets in a bid to complement their logistics offering.
Most recently, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA (MSC) started developing a new air cargo segment, with a new solution be available from early 2023.
