Cleveland has recently won a contract with engineering company PHB Weserhutte for the supply of two storage loading cascade chutes.
The systems will be used to load a storage facility with green coke at initial rates of 500 tonnes per hour.
These rates will eventually rise to 875 tonnes per hour, and slight modifications to the angles of the cascade cones will allow for this.
Chutes will be used occasionally to load vehicles from a product silo with pet coke at rates of up to 100 tonnes per hour.
The system is equipped with hardened steel free fall cones in order to cope with the abrasiveness of the product and offer a remarkably long service life.
All three systems will be designed, manufactured and delivered in early 2015 by Cleveland Cascades.
