Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) and Grupo Imetame are joint venture partners in HGT Aracruz.
The pair have signed an agreement with Sany for the supply of container-handling equipment, including Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, for the new greenfield terminal in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, Brazil.
The agreement represents a key milestone in the project’s development, with the partners citing operational efficiency, sustainability and scalability as central to the terminal’s design as it positions itself for future growth and rising customer demand.
