Crane spreader manufacturer Bromma has seen its sales increase considerably while order intake is on the same level compared to the same period in 2014.

PTI previously reported that Bromma had had a successful year in Turkey, receiving a total of 70 orders.

Geographically the orders are spread all over the world with major orders in most continents.

The ratio between yard and ship-to-store crane spreaders is fairly neutral giving no specific indication of high replacement activity in the terminals.

Lars Meurling, Marketing Director at Bromma, said: “Increasing sales on a market which we believe to be relatively flat is a good start of the year. It confirms our strategy – high quality products combined with excellent local support – to be right.

“This includes the availability of spare parts when the customers need them. The quality aspect is equally important when it comes to spares as it relates to the original spreaders in order to reach the safety and reliability levels one could expect from a Bromma spreader.”
