Bollore Logistics, a global leader in transportation logistics, has launched Real Time Monitoring, a new internet of things-powered (IoT) offering that enables customers end-to-end supply chain visibility.
According to a statement, Real Time Monitoring has been designed to meet the specific needs of the market, which Bollore Logistics says is “becoming more complex in view of the “number of stakeholders involved.”
Real Time Monitoring will include onboard sensors that will collect location, temperature, and hygrometry and brightness data.
It will then be centralized on a digital platform and accessible 24/7 and then analyzed in real time by dedicated teams who will alert customers of any deviation but also prevent and correct them through dedicated continuity plans.
In a statement, Bollore Logistics said: “Real Time Monitoring offers an integrated service and customizable solutions depending on the nature of the products and adapted to all transport modes whatever the industry sector or the country of origin and destination.
“It also includes real-time transport plans for greater efficiency and better monitoring of operations.”
